I found Izze with blood dripping from her eyes in front of a Seattle high-rise where I work. She was hunkered down and clearly in a daze. I actually contemplated twisting her neck and putting her out of her misery, but I decided to put her in a box (an Izze sodas box) and took her home. I figured I could make her passing comfortable. I expected her to be dead by morning, but she had other plans. She seemed to be healing as the days passed. She drank water, and I was getting bird formula into her. I used Neosporen on her eyes. She ended up blind, but healthy.
